AW2-10 Oil Mist Filter
The AW range by Absolent is a compact, machine-mounted oil mist filter unit, engineered to meet the demands of precision and micro machining. Lightweight construction, low vibration, and Plug & Play installation. The AW sets a new standard for clean air solutions in production environments where space is limited and quality output is vital.
The AW2-10 is the second most compact unit in the range. Weighing only 26 kg, it is a true machine-mounted solution with a small footprint and minimal vibration. Despite its size, it delivers reliable oil mist filtration with a particle load of 30 mg/m3 and an airflow of 250 m3/h.
- 5 pre-calibrated airflow for a quick, custom setup
- 4 connection points for flexible installation
- Advanced EC fan for vibration-free, energy-efficient operation
- Plug & Play design – ready to perform immediately

How does it work?
The AW unit connects directly to the machine enclosure where oil mist is generated. The inlet can be positioned on the right, left, front, or bottom to fit the installation. A built-in fan creates negative pressure inside the enclosure, drawing contaminated air into the filtration unit.
Inside the unit, the air passes through a two-stage system. The Catch & Release™ fibrebed filters capture and drain oil particles continuously. This prevents filter saturation and extends service life. The drained liquid collects at the bottom, where it can be returned to the process or led to a separate container. The remaining particles are removed in a HEPA H13 filter stage before the clean air is released through the top outlet.
To match different machining conditions, the unit is factory-set to a predefined airflow and automatically regulates fan speed as the filters fill up. Users can select between five preset airflow levels through the HMI, ensuring stable performance and energy efficiency across varying process demands.
